Registration anti-spamming

    Hi Jeff, second question of 2 as promised/threatened …

    I’m using the sidebar widget, which is great on the one hand, because it’s highly visible, however I’m guessing these things are also spam magnets.

    The site content will be well-moderated, but I just want to control registration spam. I’m thinking about a CAPTCHA box or a pre-registration question or the like.

    I’ve also been burnt recently with incompatible plug-ins (TML honourably excepted from any criticism!). And there are literally hundreds of possibilities.

    Can you or any other users recommend any particular plug-ins, which you know are compatible with TML? Ideally something which either takes registrees to another page, or which can be part of the sidebar without taking up too much space.

    If you uncheck “Allow Registration” from the widget settings, it will redirect to the actual registration page.

    Also, TML 6.3 will come with a reCAPTCHA module.
