• I know the title is probably horrible but here’s my scenario:

I was designing a site on a temp URL. Yesterday my client’s IT guy pointed the DNS server to their new host. My host went in and updated the database for me to make sure the image links were updated, etc. I’m using SimpleSidebars to create several (actually, a LOT) of sidebars in which Text Widgets were located. The sidebars exist but the text widgets are gone.

Now, I’ve searched and have seen people having this issue when they import or transfer a site…not when they are using a temp url.

Any thoughts? This is beyond my scope of knowledge and luckily my host is super helpful but it might escape them as well. I’m about to enter freakout mode pretty soon as I have over 50+ text widgets to worry about.
