Membership site needs specific email help

We are a musicians association that has a site that has a membership side. Our need is that when a member changes their contact info we used to get an email to alert us to the change and we could go in an update our membership records. With WP it doesn’t look like we can get the same email. Is there anything that we can do to ge this to happen?
