Replacement text for links

Hi, I love your twitter plugin, but keep finding myself making a quick change after updates. While raw URL’s look reasonable in twitter, they look terrible on my WP page, so I replace the URL with the text “here” in links. In other words, on lines 347 and 349 of v. 2.0.4 I replace the $link_target.">$1</a>" with $link_target.">here</a>".

I wonder if others might like to be able to substitute prettier text for those links as well? You might want to consider an option that allows the user to specify text to replace raw URL links on tweets. I know I would appreciate that.
