I downloaded Forever last night but I’m having a couple troubles. The image slider…I believe sticky posts are supposed to show up in the slider (the featured images at least). I think I’m missing a step here because nothing shows up. Also, I want my blog to show in the left side (not the side bar). My site is http://www.kallististudio.com

    Thanks for any help.

I figured it out. The featured image has to be exactly 888px wide and 355px in height. Once you have the featured images set you then go to the “Publish Section” and in “Visibility” click on “edit”. Set it to “sticky” and then it should appear. Hope others can get help here too.

i’m using “Forever”, too and have the same question. So that means you have to crop each image yourself, before uploading it to the library?

    Yes, and No.

WP crops images for you upon upload based on sized defined in theme/plugin function. So just make sure that images are bigger than or equal to those sizes.

It’s pointless to upload 3000px image into WP, so in that case crop it to 1200px.

Best practice is to use image width of 1200px or 960px. So you always have the “good size for web” original upload that WP can re-crop to other sizes when change theme.
