Drop-down menus with multiselect button not collapsing since 3.2 update

Hi there.

I’ve noticed a strange behavior, in that after upgrading to 3.2 of BP Profile Search, the dropdown menus using the multiselect button will not collapse–they stay open and the focus won’t shift no matter what else you click on on the page. This is an even more severe problem because it blocks the actual submit button beneath it.

(This site is using WP 3.5.1, BP Profile Search 3.2, updated BP, etc.)

In comparison, these drop-down menus work fine on the outdated WP site (which is using WP 3.3.2, BP Profile Search 3.0, other outdated stuff):

Both form codes are identical, but in the new one, it’s malfunctioning:
