Admin user are not allowed to create new user in wordpress 3.5.1

    I’ve installed a mulitsite and admin users only can add existing users, is this a bug? In older versions it was possible

    No, it’s a setting. Go to wp-admin/network/settings.php

    Check the box for Allow site administrators to add new users to their site via the “Users → Add New” page.

    Thank you very much! You are absolutely right, I’m new using multisites and I didn’t pay proper attention to network settings : /

    So I checked the box, but when my admins try to create new users, the new users don’t get sent an email. I have to go in as a network admin and create the user without sending an email, and then change the password for the user.

    Any ideas? SMTP seems to be configured properly (at least, other functions work)
