Version 1.3 moves the Facebook Comments Box social plugin from the post content filter to a your theme’s comments area.
It looks like you are running an older version of Abundance, 1.5. I’m able to look at the latest version of Abundance, 1.7, on the theme developer’s site and see a comments template.
Have you removed the comments template from the theme? When you view source and search for “fb-comments” are you able to find an outputted Comments Box?

I don’t think Facebook should have “taken over the comment section of the WordPress sites. The comments on my WordPress site appear as ratings on products: http://www.belindasdesigns.net/The+Pink+Mermaid
So does this mean we remove the coding for the facebook plugin, and add the WP comments box BACK into the theme?
That fixed it. After being told to REMOVE the code to include the WP comment form in the past version of the plugin (and add in the code for the facebook comments). You now have to remove the facebook code, and put the WordPress comment form back into your theme.

I am really new to this and ever since i updated to the newer version of this app. My comment box for facebook has vanished from my site. How do you get it back? I did everything i know to get it back.

That a link example above and the comment box usually would go right under the article but it has vanished.

For a quick fix I deleted the current version and reinstalled the previous version 1.2.3

I have it working on all browser but Internet Explorer it will not show up on any version of I.E.
