    In the description for the “Pro version” you list:

    -Show/hide menus based on user capabilities, roles or user names.

    To be clear, with the Pro version I could set Subscribers to not see the custom menu and still have it available for those higher on the food chain?

    Sure, you could do that.

    The way it works in the Pro version is that there’s a list of roles a the top of the menu editor. When you click on a role (e.g. “Subscriber”) the plugin displays a checkbox to the left of each menu item. You can then show or hide menus from the selected role by checking or un-checking the appropriate boxes.
