Include Header in Ajaxify

I love this plugin – absolutely smashing.

We’ve implemented it at http://www.gbfreeski.com. However my problem is:

– including the whole page causing all divs to fade out – we wanted to keep the header and nav constant
– so I’ve wrapped the page excluding the header in the div id “ajaxy”
– however now when using a header/main nav link the ajaxy is not active, it only uses AJAX for links wrapped within the ajaxy id i.e. the main page content

Is there a way to prevent the plugin reloading the header but still allow header links to cause the content to load through Ajax?

As a second question is it possible to fade the page out slower rather than an immediate fade on click ajaxed link?
