Hi,

I installed this plugin but when I did the formatting buttons in the post box (i.e. buttons for “bold”, “italic” etc.) disappeared. So now users can only write plain text.

Anyon know why this happened, or how to fix it?

From the plugin description: “bbPress Threaded Replies is incompatible with the Fancy Editor; enabling threading will automatically disable the Fancy Editor.”

It’s a known incompatibility.

Maybe try this additional plugin (along with the Threaded Replies plugin)

Seems to work for me. Both threaded replies and a html editor.

I installed the bbpress post toolbar and it is working. It is not TinyMCE, but it works for basic text editing.
