Not sure what I'm doing wrong... (4 posts)

I'm an absolute novice to wordpress, downloaded it the other day and the IT manager set up the database etc on our server.

I've created a theme to match our website (as I'm wanting to use it to publish news articles for the site so those who don't know html can still make updates).

If I navigate to the absolute URL (http://www.rawhideaccessories.com/wordpress/index.php) the blog shows up properly showing my posts. However, if I click on any link, post title, archives, etc it takes me to the index of our server OR whichever link Ive clicked returns a blank page.

Could anyone tell me what it is I'm missing so I can get it sorted?

    Thanks for any help!

The IT manager doesn't deserve his salary...
Tell him to make index.php a valid index file.

Have your IT manager ensure that index.php is configured to be a "default page" with your webserver.

(might ask him to disable directory browsing as well)

You'll know things are correct when browing to:
    http://www.rawhideaccessories.com/wordpress/
    doesn't result in a directory listing. :-)
