Theme Home Page Display Error

    Alright, so I’ve been assigned with the task of administrating this website. I’ve taken it upon myself to redo it and fix everything, but I’m stuck here. Check out these two pages, and see the difference on the front page. On the second one, it displays “Judokaa Martial Arts Judo & Jiu Jitsu Club Welcomes You!” which I would like to display on the first one. I have the page added, but I’m not sure how to make it display in the same spot.

    If it’s fixed text that is not going to change, I’d suggest the easiest way is to go into the index.php file and editing it there, other option is to use a sticky post and display the welcome text always as the first post(not such an elegant solution). The third way is to use a page as your frontpage instead of the standard index.php file where you can design the page using the built in editor.
