I'm trying to upload a backup plugin. Every "instruction" says extract and upload to the wp-content/plugin directory. I can access the directory but there is no explanation as to how to actually get the damn file there! I've downloaded the plugin successfully to my computer. How the hell do I get it in the plug in directory?
Please advise.

Without much cursing, most folks do it with an FTP client, the same way they uploaded their WordPress files and, perhaps, any other themes and plugins.
