  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    While in chrome, i used inspect element, i found that chitika javascript is requesting two url with suffix “[” and “]” on every page..

    example, http://myhomepage.com/%5B and myhomepage.com/] and on post page as myhomepage.com/post-url/[ and myhomepage.com/post-url/] . This is causing server load to increase as the requested url does not exists. I have notified chitika about this. Lets see what they do.
