So, I’m a ‘user’ on Google Analytics for one domain name and an admin on a different domain name. I just set up Google Analytics for the new domain name I Admin. Initially, I had it set to the wrong domain name, but it clicked the drop-down and selected the GA ID for the right site and saved the changes. However, when I go to my dashboard, it’s showing me statistics on the one I’m only a user for, not for the one I just created a GA account for an installed Google Analyticator to track…

I’ve even “reset” Google Analyticator and immediately switched to the “right” site name in the drop-down before saving anything. It still shows the wrong statistics in the dashboard widget. What gives? Do I have to totally uninstall & reinstall Analyticator?

How long does it typically take to switch which statistics get shown in the dashboard? I’d think it would show the right analytics data as soon as you switched the selection of the GA ID in the drop-down on the Settings page and clicked “Save.” Such seems not to be the case.

    I’m on WP 3.5.1 & GA 6.4.3…

  • Exactly the same here. I even deleted and reinstalled the plugin, but the settings still are as they have been before.

    Same Versions as above

Well, I left mine changed over to the right GA account in the drop-down and it seems to have now corrected itself… So, it’s not showing the wrong site statistics any more.

Not sure why it didn’t do it “immediately.” Weird.

Ahh, was starting to suspect maybe something like that was the culprit.

    Thx.

    Resolved, I guess.
