Malware playtopus & Word Press

My computer was infected with the Playtopus malware. Before I could remove the malware, Playtopus wrote some code, apparently to every page I am building with Word Press. Playtopus double underlines certain words on the pages and colors the words red (like a link). When I mouse-over the word, a small pop-up ad displays with the words “Sponsored by Playtopus” at the bottom. I have attempted to delete the spurious code, but it reappears when I hit the update button. Any idea which Word Press file this code could be reloading from? Or could it be a non Word Press file? The site I am updating is currently offline on my localhost.
