    REALLY strange bug. I have configured my slider to display only on a static front page and hidden it from my blog page using:

    .blog #slider {
    display: none;
    }

    However, the slider on my home page ONLY works when the admin account is logged in! I’ve just logged out of the WordPress Dashboard and confirmed the slider has disappeared.

    Has anyone come across this and/or able to help?!

    I would not suggest adding the css you provided above… It seems as though it would just make the slider disappear altogether.

    Here is a link on some slider tutorials that really helped me. It seems as though you are trying to hide your slider posts so the link will help you do that.

    Hope it helps,

    Cheers!

    Appreciate the reply Paul. It turns out I had made the posts “Private” by accident (I already have the WPHide plugin)! Thankfully the css still works (as I really don’t want the slider on the blog page) and now slider posts only appear on the front page – hurrah!
