gallery in navigation mode – how edit titles?

    Hi, my nggallery is setted in navigation mode. The problem is when i browse images, the page titles (in the tag < title>)are with “picture 0001 etc”.
    How can i take titles i gived to images by the gallery edit menu?
    I’ve read that it’s not possible and that the plugin next gen gallery seo was doing that but now is not working with wp 3.
    Help please!
