Include Tags in Search?

    Hi there,

    I wanted to know if there’s a way to include product tags in searches? For example, I have the tag of ‘wings’ under several products called ‘Fairy’, but when ‘wings’ is typed into the search bar, it gives nil results.

    I have tried the Search Everything plugin but that doesn’t appear to work. I am using Wootique with Woocommerce.

    Maybe Relevanssi Plugin can help..

    I have no experience with this search plugin, but in the description it said that Relevanssi can index tags and custom post types.

    And also many people use it..

    If Relevanssi doesn’t work.. another alternative is Facetious.

    Thanks candeed – Relevanssi works but I’m getting an error:
    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘key’ in /home/glittert/public_html/wp-content/plugins/relevanssi/lib/search.php on line 214

    Can’t find anything online about this error.

    I believe that’s a good start, Inspirata.. 🙂 try to find information in Relevanssi support then.

    As this time Relevanssi discussions is actively maintained by its author..
