   i've been playing with a new theme for my site (its not active yet & running against a dev box and for the life of me cannot work out why I can't get it to fill 100% width of the screen.

   I'm modifying silver light (http://themes.wordpress.net/?s=silver+light) and have already tried changing the width tag in the header, main, footer, content and entry div and class tags to 100% with no avail.

   please help

   Difficult to help until it is live somewhere. Why not set up a dev blog?
