Twitter tools setup: categories not updating

I’m using Twitter Tools 1.0 with WP 2.3b1, though I am not sure if this is limited to 2.3b1.

I installed Twitter Tools, activated it, and went to the config page. The drop down list of categories to assign to new tweets was populated, but did not have one called Tweets. Duh.

So I went to categories, created a category called Tweets, and returned to the Twitter Tools config page. But the drop down had not updated. Since then I have added several more categories to my WP 2.3b1 install, and still the Twitter Tools config page drop-down has not updated.

Anyone know of a fix? Mr. King?
