Hey wedideas – thanks for the note here, and for your use of The Events Calendar. I am indeed seeing the problem at your site there. Looking through our records I see we had a previous user in the same boat, who identified it as a plugin conflict: http://tri.be/support/forums/topic/calendar-buggy-events-repeating-every-day/. Are you in a position where you can test if another plugin or possibly the theme is at play here?
Hi Rob,
thanks for the reply. I’ve deactivated all of my plugins and still have the problem.
It appears to be a problem with my theme. I’m using Woothemes Canvas 5.1.4 which I know is a well made and supported theme. Strange.
How would I go about testing for a theme conflict as I can’t see anything in firebug, and I’d love to keep using the events plugin as it’s brilliant!
Could this conflict also be related to my other problem –
James
Hi wedideas,
Try changing your time zone setting to UTC time instead of a selected city. Let me know how that goes.

Hi Jonah,
I’ve tried that but no success. It’s definitely a theme conflict as it all works fine on Twenty Eleven.
Strange as Woothemes have always been great regarding conflicts. Any idea what I need to do to start debugging so I can get this working correctly?
Just made some amendments to our theme and it appears to have been sorted. Thanks for all your help 😉
Sounds good wedideas, would you care to share your solution in case it could benefit others?
Thanks,
Jonah
Hi Jonah,
I copied the ecp-page-template.php file to the events folder in my child theme folder.
I then edited this file to have two columns (#main and #sidebar) like the layout we use on our site – it wasn’t a lot of work at all and works fine 🙂
Sounds good wedideas, thanks for sharing that!
