Text in Posts Not Formatting

    Hello,

    Small problem that is really frustrating me. I write a post with line breaks, bolding, etc. but when I publish, all formatting is stripped and it just displays without any of the formatting I applied. It even removes a bulleted list. If I Preview, everything looks like it’s supposed to. I’ve tried inserting html tags but still can’t get it working.

    I’m using WPTuts theme by wpexplorer. I’m not sure if it’s a theme issue that is overriding the text formatting or some setting in WP I need to change.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Does it look “right” in the editor window after you’ve saved the page? If it does, then it’s your theme that’s removed the styling for those elements/tags. to add that in you’d need to modify your theme and add those styles back into the style, css file. But, I’d also recommend that you create a child theme so that your changes don’t get over-written by any future theme updates.
