I would love to use this plugin, but it doesn’t seem to provide an option to create an unstyled sign-up form. All I need is the plugin to handle the actual Constant Contact API, but I would like to style the form myself without having to fight the Form Designer styles. Are there future plans to include an “unstyled” option for the form designer? Or even a way to edit the HTML and classes of the form elements?

  • I second that. I installed the plugin and it is conflicting with all my existing styling.

You can use the “Constant Contact Signup” widget included in the plugin (and without styling), the Contact Form 7 Newsletter plugin, the Gravity Forms + Constant Contact plugin, or the Fast Secure Contact Form Newsletter plugin for different form options.

That being said, I’m planning on including a basic style widget that works with Genesis and WooThemes themes in the near future.

Yes, I ended up using the Contact Form 7 Newsletter plugin, which was fine since I was already using Contact Form 7. Just seems like it would be a nice option to have in the “Constant Contact” plugin. I assumed it would have everything I needed. Thanks for the response.

I was wondering the same thing. I ended up using Josh’s method and using the Contact Form 7 Newsletter plugin. It would definitely be nice to have an unstyled form. I’ve spent a good amount of time figuring out an alternate solution that works well but have had no luck.
