.com to .ie shared folder on host : how do I access wordpress

my 2dgraphicdesign.com was due to auto renew on the 20th of ||December. Weeks before I tried to manually renew it over the phone the register company argued that it was set to auto register. all was good. I required emergency major surgery in and out of hospital 15th Dec to Dec 22 Dec in for 12 Days. Getting back to work over the last week & discovered on Valentines day my .com domain hadn’t renewed.

I purchased the 2dgraphicdesign.ie domain with my hosting company (not the same as registering co.) It came through yesterday. I’ve been checking the availability of .com name unavailable this morning now purchased by an asian co.

Yesterday with hosting co. I transfered the 2dgraphicdesign.ie to the space holding the old 2dgraphicdesign.com folders. I thought the website would appear as previously seen. nope it’s basically an unformatted list of links that redirects to the 2dgraphicdesign.com site:…/wixi.jp/en/

My hosting tells me I need to change the links in the website software.

Can I do this via my old wordpress admin? It forwards to wixi when I try http://www.2dgraphicdesign.com/wp-login.php and when I add the login details to http://www.2dgraphicdesign.ie/wp-login.php I get a 403 Forbidden error when I use name & password.

I can’t help but feel I’m missing something simple.

Must I change all the 2dgraphicdesign.com to 2dgraphicdesign.ie by down loading the contents of the folder on the host to desktop and changing manually & uploading

or

If I change a setting in the wp-config.php will I have access to the old admin to make changes there?
