• Hello everyone,

I am having problems trying to add some footers to posts in wordpress blog… I am using the gluedideas subtle theme, and I don’t know how to add scripts or text to become footer of posts…

Currently I want to add the amazon contexual ad that should be placed after the post…

No matter what I do, it just doesn’t show up… I tried to edit theme and place it in “single post” section… no use… even tried to add it to a post directly just for testing, but nothing shows up… does it usually require time to show up, or is it something related to my theme?

    Any help plz?

  • Maybe this plugin would be useful

Thanks 4k for the plugin, but I tried it and whenever it is active, the posts disappear leaving only the title!

It also didn’t show my amazon java script I use to display footer images… any help?

Perhaps adding a Custom Field would be more to the point.

    Hello 4k,

With the custom fields you have to include them in every single post… isn’t there a way to make it automatically displayed?

A simple to use plugin I guess would be much better.. provided it doesn’t play with the display of my posts like the first one did when activated.

Yes there is one more way. You can add it to your post meta section. You would alter both the index.php and single.php

    you can find documentation here

I really don’t seem to get it… where is the footer in the index.php and the single.php that I need to edit?

Sorry if it is just me, but it’s a bit complicated.

    Hello 4k and everyone!

Problem solved! I just edited the single.php

Don’t know why it didn’t show up before, but now every edit I do shows up perfectly! My ads are right where I want them!

Thanks again 4k for taking the time to help me!
