• Hello,
I need a single page which lists all posts independent of their categories.
Also I would like to know if there is a archive exactly like the one in blogger(blogspot.com) templates which lists all posts below the month/year dropdown

Lastly i would like to dislay different number of posts in the index and archives pages(ex i want only 2 posts in the index but 10 posts(only titles)in the archive and categories page.Is this possible?

    Thank you

  • For the first part, there are many many ways to do it. I, personally, use the SRG Clean Archives plugin, along with a Page template (see Pages) to do an archive list by month.

If you want a dropdown selecter, search here and in the codex.

For the second part, I’ve used the Custom Query String plugin in the past. I don’t believe it is supported anymore by the author. Maybe try a web search for it and see if anyone else has picked it up?

Thanks for the help HandySolo.Your answer solved my first part. But i am a newbie in php/css/html.So can u please explain me the other two, please

the second part of your question it’s and I already did this, so it’s possible..

but if you are new at wordpress, there are only 2 ways to help to you:

1- read the codex (search for “loop”, and/or “multiple loops”
2- someone to do this for you…
