Possible to publish posts from an XML feed?

    We’re using a WordPress website and a BigCartel store. At the moment we’re pulling products into WordPress and displaying them on pages through the BigCartel XML feeds which is working well. However now we would like the products to be searchable through WordPress but because they aren’t actually being saved in the database, only pulled into the page through XML, I don’t suppose that will work.

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to automatically create new posts in WordPress from an XML feed. Does anyone know?
