is there a way to turn off inclusion of tweets in outbound rss?

I’d like to use twitter tools to archive my tweets, and display them to visitors to my blog. But I don’t want the tweets to show up in my primary rss/atom feeds, which looks like the default. Is there any way (in settings or in code) to turn that off? Thanks!
