    Image Captions force images to disappear. used theme - veryplaintxt.

    Code used:

    <table class="image" align="left">
    <caption align="bottom">Caption text balh balh blah</caption>
    <tr>
    <td><img id="image370"
    src="http://www.google.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/eye.jpg"
    alt="Description" /></td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    instead of the images with the captions I see only Image Description text

    Please help me.

    Seemingly all the images that don't show up are in a table that has
    class="image"
    and this class is NOT defined in your stylesheet.

    Try the Image Caption Easy plugin, it will automatically format image captions for you using <div>'s not <table> which is better for css styling: http://imagecaptioneasy.contentspring.com/.
