  • Hi Everyone,

    I just updated to 2.2.2 and . . .
I have been searching all over the place, and still cannot seem to get answers to how to do what I’m wanting to do. Please forgive me, I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to CSS and php coding, and I hope someone can be willing to help me with my questions . . .
(using pretty much the basic theme)
First off, when I go to a topic page to view the post alone, The column with the post is way too narrow to read comfortably and not have to scroll so much. (Especially if you go to other posts and see the usual length of the posts. That one was kinda short.) Could anyone explain how I can fix that to where the text will fill the entire area since there’s no side links or anything but wasted space? I really would appreciate it! I set the text to be larger, and I kinda need to keep it larger than normal, to coincide with the rest of my site (more comfortable reading for many visitors too).

Another thing is on the main page, I miss having the calender! I see the code for it, but not for how to get it to show!

Yet another question I can’t figure out (Never could in the old version I had eiher), is how to get rid of all those archive links on the main page, and condense it perhaps by year or something.

Then when I click on any of those (or the search) I can only seem to show a portion of ONE post instead of all those related to the link or search.

I know these are simple questions, and are probably easy answers, but as I mentioned, I’m a bit of a novice with all this and cannot seem to figure it out, nor find it through searching the site!

I REALLY appreaciate all help, and thank you so much in advance! I have a few other questions, but don’t want to overload anyone right now . . . first things first!
