    Today I installed WordPress backup to Dropbox plug-in and perform a manual backup. Then I got following message, but this plug-in upload all the selected files to my dropbox account.

    Why is that. I read some other similar issues that posted on this forum, but those members mention that there’s nothing backedup, but in my situation looks like everything backup but doesn’t shows correct logs.

    What is the reason?

    Few logs files.

    08:10:28: Approximately unknown% complete. View uploaded files»
    08:10:22: Approximately unknown% complete. View uploaded files»
    08:10:16: Approximately unknown% complete. View uploaded files»
    08:10:10: Approximately unknown% complete. View uploaded files»
    08:10:04: Backing up WordPress path at (/home/xxxxx/xxxxx_xxx/).
    08:10:00: Your time limit is 30 seconds and your memory limit is 128M
    08:10:00: Backup started on Wednesday February 13, 2013.

    Sometimes I got this message “There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.”.

    When I check my server error logs (bluehost), there’s no error for this plug-in.

    So it did upload all of the files to your drop box account?

    Yesterday I have stopped that manual backup and scheduled to perform automatic backup at today 12.00AM. Now it’s time 8.06AM, it almost 8 hours left. Still WordPress backup to Dropbox plug-in running that scheduled backup task. Still it shows “08:25:58: Approximately unknown% complete. View uploaded files»”.

    Still it only backup “wp-content, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, 400.shtml, 403.shtml”. My all the files size is 700MB (database and file system).

    What is the reason?

    Yes Michael, Looks like it happen very first backup. After that there’s no such a issue. 😀
