Hello,
I want to switch my wordpress blog’s hosting from the existing hosting service provider to any other company. As I haven’t done this before please tell me the step by step procedure to do this.
The blog i need help with is Techfaze

If it’s going on the same domain:

1) Download your database from php Myadmin .

2) Download your entire public_html directory via ftp.

3) Reverse the process to your new host.

Their will be some tutorials for you via: google!

It would not, so long as you keep the same URL structure with your new host.

In other words, if your site is http://www.myblog.com and when you move it to your host, it ends up being http://www.myblog.com/blog/ then your backlinks would all be broken.

If you are just changing hosting, your backlinks/ SEO benefits will not be lost. For moving, read: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
