If you are a WP user who has been frustrated with the limited or just plain buggy ecommerce plugin options (as I have been) I would suggest that you check out YAK for WordPress

If you don't need complicated features and are happy with Paypal as a payment option, then you will probably be ecstatic, as I am. I'm not associated with the YAK project at all, just a WP user who is highly relieved to find an e-commerce solution that works!

Will YAK support additional payment gateways?
I've tried using the latest full release of WP eCommerce and found that it accepts any credit card expiration date that is not in the past. This is using Authorize.net as the payment gateway.
Major security flaw?! Or am I misconfigured?

Sorry, didn't notice this post until now. Additional payment gateways for YAK are unlikely in the short term, unless someone else contributes them. I'm too busy to support anything other than the fundamentals, I'm afraid.
