• I’m a bit of a beginner here, so please forgive me, but I’m wondering how I get the Blaskan theme, either in the sidebar, footer or alongside social sharing buttons, to display the RSS feed for my site so that people, if they wish, can follow the updates using their feed reader of choice?

I’ve tried adding the “Meta” widget to the side bar, which I think does the job, but I don’t want all of the ‘Log in’ and ‘WordPress.org’ links there, I just want the RSS feed. Is there a way to do this so that I can just display the orange RSS icon and people can follow that way?

Also, and I’m not sure if this is directly related, but when I log in to the WP-admin section, on the Dashboard page, the “Incoming Links” section says:

“RSS Error: A feed could not be found at http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?scoring=d&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss&partner=wordpress&q=link:http://kanesimms.com/. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.”

Does this have anything to do with it?

Any help is greatly appreciated… And desperately needed!

    Many thanks
    Kane
