    Hi guys

This looks like a wonderful update, but I had to roll back to the previous version because it ruined some of the site pages. For example, my BBpress pages stopped showing up – I could only see the header picture, and that is all. A few more other pages did the same, while the static home page and the blog pages worked.

    Thanks!

  • Hi! I got some problem with the update too. How can I roll back to the previous version? Thanks

Grab the Zip file for 1.2.1 here.

I am not sure if I rolled back the “right” way, but I deleted the main theme (I hope you have a child theme active, or all your customizations are screwed =) ) from the Theme menu, then clicked on Add Theme and chose “Upload”. Upload the archive and it will install it automatically.

For some reason, rolling back this way broke my navigation – it moved it to the right. I will have to go through my CSS, but I don’t remember editting anything in the main theme, and the fact that the previous update didn’t break the navigation suggests something weird is going on. =)

Oh, it also broke the link colors in bbPress. I swear I didn’t touch the main theme! Here is my site if interested…

    Thanks a lot!!

This thread explains a work-around. I tried it & it sets things back to ‘normal’. Looking forward to an actual fix.

Thanks. That looks like a different problem, though. I get the error on pages without the sidebar, while the pages with it work fine… I will just wait for the fix and read the board before I update next time.

Unless there is more to it than pressing the Update button, I am quite positive I did everything right. Not my first update, either. =)

Agree. My menubar also changed location. I am also waiting for the fix. 🙂

I think the problem is a sidebar (I use only main), after update all widgets stopped working.

Instead of widgets I see only this code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_cart() in /wp-content/themes/fruitful/page.php on line 27

The code above is displayed even after removing widgets for the sidebar.

Sorry I overlooked this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-in-pagephp-in-new-release-13?replies=7

    I’m waiting for a fix 🙂

Nope, not fixed. And the problem is in the Child Theme (the theme itself, when activated, works fine). I used Orbisius theme generator to make a child theme. Everything worked fine until 1.3 and 1.3.1. Had to roll back again because with 1.3.1 even the home page and blog page were ruined – only the banner was visible. Well, I am not complaining. I managed to do everything I wanted in 1.2, so there is really no point for me to upgrade. I just like knowing I have the latest stuff, that is all)

    snakiest,

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/
We have noticed that some child themes created by this plugin do not work as expected.

Please create child theme using this instruction
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

I agree with snakiest : the problem is not fixed. I created child theme without any plugin but manually and the site was good before this update.
My pages are empty after updating !
The only plugins I use are jetpack, akismet and better security. After deactivating them, the problem goes on.

I keep the 1.2 for the moment but there is a big fail yet.
