Really slow performance

    That is a lot of records… currently the search uses WPs own functions to query the database… for efficiency I would have to recode the search using sql directly so I could do the distance calculation as part of the sql query. This isn’t something I plan to tackle at the moment

    Hi Adam,

    No problem. Yeah it is a lot of records. If I get round to rewriting it then I’ll give you the source. FYI I’ve added a feature to mark a record as a premium listing, it’ll show these ones first before the others. I’ll keep you posted.
