    Maybe some kind and knowledgeable soul in the forums can help me. I’ve had no luck getting text to wrap around an image in our blog. I’ve searched the forums and tried adding various suggested versions of the relevant part of the Word Press codex to our theme’s CSS stylesheet (Blank Slate). No dice, and when I would then try to modify the style for the captions in the stylesheet it doesn’t get applied. (For the moment I have no caption until this gets sorted.) Some posts suggested looking for code elsewhere in the stylesheet that might be overriding the img align style, but those particular examples didn’t appear. Hopefully I’m explaining this well enough for someone to be able to advise me.

  • in style.css, is this your addendum after:

    /* =WordPress Core
    -----------------

    if so, you have forgotten to close the @media query before that section;

    basically, add a curly bracket } into the line before the /* =WordPress Core
