strange behaviour with UL and LI

    hi
    when i type text in the visual editor, and then select to it put them as list i get strange formating i don’t wanted, that is added :

    • <span style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;”>dkj</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;”>zzff</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;”>efg</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;”>zz</span>

    instead of

    • dkj
    • zzff
    • efg
    • zz

    it’s anoygin because then i have to manually remove them all, one by one, and it takes too much time. do you have any idea how i get this result ? thanks

    Does this occur with current version of WP, default theme and no plugins on a new clean post where rich text is not pasted into the editor?

    hi
    not it’s not pasted it’s just entered with the keyboard
    and there is many plugins and i changed a lot the theme. the site is on production, for now 1 year, but this is quite new.

    With this type of information, finding support here will prove difficult..there are too many possibilities for what may be wrong…

    Since we know that providing a site link (that we can check at sites such as Sucuri) may reveal a known issue…without a link this will prove much harder to support…

    well i thought it would be a know issue. do you think that a pluggin could generate this kind of bug ?

    the theme was changed only by changing the style.php / css files

    i could give you the link to the front office : http://intheloop.fr but the problem is on the backoffice side, on de post editor, so i’m not sure that this url will help you in any way…

    Hi, I’m having the same issue and I wish someone would figure it out. It’s brand new within the last two weeks. Nothing has changed on my site since then. I’m not pasting anything, just creating a new list in a new post. Example:

    • <span style=”font-size: 13px;”>dog</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 13px;”>cat</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 13px;”>zoo</span>

    Update: I’m using Chrome on a Mac. When I switch to Firefox the problem goes away. Bummer because I love Chrome and hate Firefox.

    It seems to be an issue with webkit. For more information:
    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/17154

    Update core and theme and that may fix your issue.
