Readers can’t leave comments

    I’m not sure what version I am using. I’m sorry, my son set it up. Anyway, I get at least 500 readers a day and only a few comments. I get emails all of the time saying that they can’t leave comments. What can I do? Thank you.

    The site in your profile has comments. What site are the comments not working on?

    It isn’t getting all of the comments, just a few. Many complaints from people saying they can’t leave comments.

    A) You really need to upgrade. 2.0.4 is very old and has vulnerabilities.

    B) The integration with that captcha thingy is probably what is screwing folks up. I left a test comment, but almost muffed it before I realized I need to scroll further down the page for the captcha.

    Personally, I’d get rid of that and use akismet or Spam Karma 2 instead.

    I left a comment.

    I agree with HandySolo about your captcha. If you’re going to keep it, at least fix the tab order so that when you tab out of the comment box it goes into the captcha box and not to the top of the browser window.
