• Hi there,

I’m having 2 separate issues with All-in-one Events Calendar and Custom Fields.

Issue #1: shortcode doesn’t work inside custom field
If I try to paste the [ai1ec] shortcode inside a WYSIWYG custom field, it just won’t output anything.

Issue #2: shortcode inside the post body also outputs in the post’s custom fields
If I’m implementing custom fields at all, when I implement the calendar shortcode – whether it’s in the post body or in one of the custom field bodies – it shows up in both the body and all of the custom fields on output. So if I have a post with two custom fields and I paste [ai1ec] into the body, it’ll output in the body and both custom fields as well.

Any help would be much appreciated – I’d love to sort this out so I can use this amazing plugin, but it’s kind of a dealbreaker right now. Thanks!!!

  • I’m very sorry for the delayed response. We had a high volume of support requests since the release of v1.9.

In the earlier releases of 1.9, we had some issues with shortcodes but most of them have been resolved in the most recent 1.9.4 Standard and 1.9.4 Pro

Can you please confirm that you are using the latest version.
If you don’t have an update notice in your dashboard, you can do a manual install by following these steps: http://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/534931-how-do-i-manually-upgrade-

Please let me know if this issue still continues and I will look into it for you.

    Take care
