I have my own web site.
I've downloaded WordPress 2.2
I've uploaded the 3 folders and files to http://www.mysite.com/blog
Now what do I do? If I could find such a list of what the next steps are, I'm sure I would be able to follow it, or learn as I go along, but I just can't find such a guide.
Please just point me in the right direction.

Next step would probably be to log in at http://www.yoursite.com/blog/wp-admin/index.php and then start blogging :)

"Log in" to the address above is not enough information for me, as I too am new at wordpress useage. After installing Wordpress on my site < http://www.wirewrapjeweler.com. >, I have a bunch of oddly named files in a folder called "myblog."
I also have a blog that I started at Blogger, and from what I've read, I should be able to import that into my Wordpress. The problem is that I haven't a clue as to log into and edit the Wordpress blog. The manual help info is pretty useless until I know how to get access to my own pages.
How 'bout a step-by-step?
