   Recently I upgraded one of my blogs to WP 2.2 and now when I try to add blog roll categories or post categories I type in what I want into the field and then press add, but then it is not added. The field just goes blank. I try again and the same thing. This is not happening on my old installs of WP. Any ideas? Also this is happening in both IE and FF.

   Any help here? It has to be a WP 2.2 issue. I have tested on multiple machines and multiple themes and still cant add post categories. Very weird.

   I have a hunch it might have something to do with installing in a subdirectory, because I've been having this problem, too, and the blog I'm working on is http://www.specialtyliving.com/blog/.

   In any case, one person reported in another thread that they temporarily disabled JavaScript and it worked. I gave that a shot, and sure enough, I have my needed category. I'm using Firefox and the Web Developer Toolbar, so it was a snap to disable JS, add the category, and re-enable JS.

   Yup worked for me now. That is dumb bug. Hopefully they fix that soon.
