complete post vs the first few lines

    Sorry about this very basic question, but I have searched the Codex and can’t find the answer. When I publish a post, only the first few lines appear on the front page. How can I get the complete post to appear?

    Sounds like you have excerpts displaying instead of full posts. This has more info and a link to a fix it appears:

    Ummmmm…..Sorry, but the links are discussing stuff way beyond my grade level. I was hoping for a cookbook solution and am really not up for editing those files at this stage of my ignorance. I have reverted to the default theme and the display is correct. So I guess I’ll stick with that, at least for right now. Thanks for trying.
