How to upload php files

    Hello! I’m trying to upload a custom page template. I created the copy of page.php in dreamweaver, edited it, and saved it to my computer as a .php file. When I go to upload through my file manager it doesn’t even show the file where I saved it.

    Do I need to tweek some settings before wordpress will let me upload?
