• Hi,
I am struggling with one thing in shipping classes and I haven’t been able to find the answer on these forums.
I would like to be able to add a fixed cost per additional item in the cart.
    eg.
If someone buys one item the shipping cost is £2.95
If someone buys 2 items, the cost is £3.95 (the shipping class amount plus a fixed amount for extra items)
If someone buys 3 items, the cost is £4.95 (the shipping class amount plus 2 times the fixed amount for extra items)
I hope this makes sense 😕
    Thanks again,
    Henry

  • Doesn’t the FLAT RATE shipping extension solve this?

    Thanks for your reply.

I can only get Flat rate to replicate the whole shipping amount for an item:

eg I set the ‘small’ shipping class tp £2.95, and when the buyer adds another of the same item to thier cart, the postage shoots up to £5.90, where I only want to charge another £1.00 for the additonal item.

Is there a setting in the shipping options to do this?
    Thanks again

Did it got solved, struggling with it.

The ability to increment shipping by a fixed amount (that is different to the product price) when products are added, doesn’t come as standard with WooCommerce.

You would have to use an extension like Table Rate Shipping.

I am struggling in applying the different shipping to the different item count of the product using woocommerce. Please help me out.

if i buy 1 item it should cost 2.60$ and if i buy 3 items of that it should show free shipping.
