Tried reinstalling and also uploaded a blank master.php into w3tc-config folder (followed an idea from another post here)
    no luck.

    now displaying this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/a7798309/public_html/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 49

    help.

You need more memory for PHP, it looks like the current limit of 64MB is not enough.

tried increasing the memory via wp-config.php. Not working. I might have to contact my host to get them to change the php.ini to 128

on second thought. It worked I just had to paste the increase memory code at the top of the wp-config.php. Issue solved! I just hope the next release will fix this so I do not have to change my wp-config file each time there is a wordpress update.
