I have renamed the folder with the installation of WordPress. I have therefore taken the right steps. And everything seemed to work. But now that I’m in my admin I don’t have the possibility anymore to add a featured image (in the bottom right corner).

How could this have happened? I only have changed the site name in the admin panel and renamed the folder. I didn’t edit any page. Also it does display the featured image when I use the template Twente-Twelve.

My theme supports featured images. Before I had renamed the folder, I could add a featured image to my post.

  • Switch themes and then switch back again. This popped up for me during my first site build in 3.5.1 but I haven’t been able to concretely create reproduction steps.

Thanks Andrew for your quick reply.

After hours of searching, it turned out to be an updated plugin that made the option dissapear in the admin panel.
