[gallery] not displaying on post

    As you can see a standard image inserted as a thumbnail works fine, but there is also a [gallery] inserted into the post but this is not displaying.

    Another issue is that posts work fine (except the gallery part), but pages come up with a server error! Really confusing me, and I thought I was pretty ok with wordpress haha.

    Any ideas anyone?
